Since migrating to Australia in 1961, Wolf Blass has drawn on the native South Australian eaglehawk as a source of pride and inspiration. In 1966 when Wolf Blass started building his own winery he named it Bilyara, the Aboriginal word for Eaglehawk, to this day an image of that's synonymous with Wolf Blass wines around the world.
