Old Bardstown is a 100% genuine Old Time Sour Mash Kentucky Bourbon. It is a bourbon of distinctive flavor which contains the true characteristics found only among the very best Kentucky Bourbon. From a mashbill of about 70% corn, with the remaining balance of barley and rye, this bourbon is beautifully bottled at 101 proof. On the nose intensity – 2.5; Golden copal incense, eucalyptus, with added water this noses like a single malt that’s been finished in sherry casks. On the palate tones of nutmeg, somewhat salty mouthfeel, herbal, malted barley showing its face, and green tobacco. On the finish length – Medium; Earthy, grass clippings, and light leather notes.
