The colour of this wine is pale straw, with lime and tropical fruit overtones. The palate is weighty and rich, with an excellent structure and length. Ready to enjoy now. The grapes for this wine were grown on our home vineyard at Kumeu and harvested in April 2008. Produced in the riper style, this Sauvignon Blanc was cold fermented and is traditionally un-oaked to retain the Sauvignon Blanc zestiness. It will also benefit from a little age, this is wine to accompany white meats, pasta and seafood. Recommended very cool....on a hot summers day.
