Deeply coloured, with a dark centre running to a red rim. The nose is a classic blend of cassis and herbal notes from the cabernet component. This is balanced by subtle oak and a sweetness of fruit. The dominant cabernet component gives the wine a long almost linear feel of a youthful wine which has the backbone for extended cellaring.
