Grappa Luigi Barbera Francoli
The Barbera grape, such as Moscato and Nebbiolo, is the emblem and symbol of wine from Piedmont. We wanted to distill these skins for their freshness and quality through careful selection and since they were still only grapes.
Type: Grappa young.
Grapes: Barbera.
Origin of grapes: grapes entirely from Barbera del Piemonte.
Features of the still: downward path of the grape skins, in a three-stage continuous still distillation, with contra-flow
water vapor, with production of phlegm to 35/40% Vol
Subsequent fractional distillation column of phlegm in copper to 23 dishes.
Ageing: 6 months in inert containers.
Alcohol content: 41.5% by volume.
Service: in a small tulip glass at a temperature of 18 to 20 ° C.
Profile notes:
Color: clear, transparent, crystal clear.
Bouquet: delicate and ethereal with hints of small
berries and licorice.
Taste: Is decision and toughness, but not harsh.
The mouth is round; aftertaste that lingers on
and great finesse.
