BOUQUET
All the Bruichladdich key notes emerge, gently led by the fruitiness of passion
fruit, pear, gooseberry, apricot and apple, encased in sweet and mellow seasoned
oak with just a hint of bourbon and soft vanilla. This moves onto butterscotch and
floral aromas of mountain thyme, wild gorse, primrose and buttercup. Then it’s the
turn of the toasted malted barley, sweet and crisp, bringing contrast and balance
to the olfactory matrix.
PALATE
The spirit is amazingly sweet, thanks to the slow distillation and fresh American
oak. It’s a whisky with sunshine in its soul and a spring in its step, confident in its
quality and ability to deliver single malt satisfaction. The malt, oak, fruit, and floral
flavours meld into a delectable gratifying experience that only unchilfiltered
caramel free spirits can provide
