Carlsberg is a superior, well-balanced lager with a distinctive refreshing taste. Carlsberg came to be thanks to J.C. Jacobsen who brewed Denmark's first ever pint using a yeast that almost all mondern-day lagers are derived from. Although the flavor provides suble hints of sweeter malts, lightly tart hops present themselves to help balance this brew out. The result is a wonderfully well-rounded brew which is very sessionable.
